WOW

It's been almost a year since my last post. I guess I ran out of things to say. Seriously?
I'm either too busy or too tired or both. But a lot has changed since that last post and some has not:
I still have my family. And even added a new member.
I still have my friends (even some new ones!) (And lost some too.)
I'm employed.
I'm still cancer free.
I still hate the cold.
I still love to cruise.
I got to see the other half of my brain twice this year.
I've been to Connecticut, California, and New York this year.
I lost my appendix.
I got to be with Gavin on his first trip to Disney World.
I still love to cruise.
Lots of people came to see me since I live in a port city.
I learned drunk people from out of town should not be allowed to drive in taxi cabs alone.
Mom got a new car AND a new bike.
Marc is in love.
Brett is employed.
Stephen still texts while atop 2,000 foot cell phone towers.
I didn't fall in love (this is NOT a problem)
I still love to cruise.
Twinkies have become addicting.
My Gators...well...let's not go there just now.

Hopefully, I will have more time and more to say in the coming days.

Have a safe and wonderful New Year.

Theme Song

For when life gets to be too much, I shall sing this....

I'm sailing away set an open course for the virgin sea
I've got to be free free to face the life that's ahead of me
On board I'm the captain so climb aboard
We'll search for tomorrow on every shore
And I'll try oh Lord I'll try to carry on

I look to the sea reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But we'll try best that we can to carry on

A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope and this is what they said
They said come sail away come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away come sail away
Come sail away with me

I thought that they were angels but to my surprise
They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies
Singing come sail away come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away come sail away
Come sail away with me

You're The First, The Last, My Everything - Barry White - From Ally McBeal (Season Two)

I'm amazed at the little moments that bring a smile to my face. Hope it makes you smile too.
I'll be back to blogging soon.
