Thinking of him and hoping he's thinking these thoughts...
I know it's late, I know you're weary
I know your plans don't include me
Still here we are, both of us lonely
Longing for shelter from all that we see
Why should we worry, no one will care girl
Look at the stars so far away
We've got tonight, who needs tomorrow?
We've got tonight babe
Why don' you stay?
Deep in my soul, I've been so lonely
All of my hopes, fading away
I've longed for love, like everyone else does
I know I'll keep searching, even after today
So there it is girl, I've said it all now
And here we are babe, what do you say?
We've got tonight, who needs tomorrow?
We've got tonight babe
Why don't you stay?
I know it's late, I know you're weary
I know your plans don't include me
Still here we are, both of us lonely
Both of us lonely
We've got tonight, who needs tomorrow?
Let's make it last, let's find a way
Turn out the light, come take my hand now
We've got tonight babe
Why don't you stay?
Why don't you stay?

The Tide is Changing!!

After another spectacular win last night by my GATORS, I can't help but look ahead to December 6th and the SEC championship. It is here where the GATORS will play the Alabama Crimson Tide (ask me what that is, I couldn't tell you, but I think it's some sort of an elephant or something) and hopefully give them a beating of a lifetime. Then my friends, it's on to Miami, January 8th, where we will play for the national championship. With all that's going on in my life, I am ever so thankful to have football to look forward to every Saturday.
On another note, may I just mention the following: I hate cold weather. Now I know most of the people who read this blog are from the North and are forever telling me how "cold" is all relative. I don't care. Here in Florida, the thermometer will not surpass 70 degrees AT ALL this week. As a matter of fact the high today is only 59 and tonight will be in the 30's. Ick. It hurts all the way to my bones when it's this cold. I hate sitting with my shoulder's shrugged all day. I presently have 3 layers of clothes on. I know, I know, I should be happy that I don't have to shovel snow. And I am. But I still wish I was in the Caribbean somewhere.
Another rant over.

I'm Still Here...
...I just haven't been very inspired to write lately. Hopefully things will start looking up for me soon and when they do, you will probably wish I was gone again.
Until then, I will just keep plugging away.
Hope all is well with you and yours.

A Good Day

Today was a good day. I tell you this to begin with, as I haven't had many good days lately. Hence, so few blogs as of late. But yes, today was a good day.
I was able to have breakfast with "Empress Bee of the High Seas" and her husband "Sarge Charlie". Then, my mom and I watched as the GATORS kicked the snot out of the Georgia Bulldogs.
I need more days such as this.

And Now...My Once In a Lifetime PSA.
I don't know if these people are Democrats, Republicans, Independents or Whatevers. I liked the video. It runs a little long and some of the language is explicit, but it's worth it.
No matter what your beliefs, everyone SHOULD vote.
